Numerous dogs have a fondness for veggies, particularly carrots. However, Buddy has an exceptional passion for fresh carrots. And by “fresh,” we’re talking about those just harvested from the soil!
A dog owner residing in Port Alberni, British Columbia, recently observed their pet digging in the garden. Driven by curiosity, they stepped outside to investigate. To their surprise, they uncovered the culprit happily snacking on their delicious carrots!

The dog’s owner shared their experience:
“As I glanced out the window, I spotted my dog Buddy lounging in the garden bed with something in his mouth. Curious, I grabbed my phone and stepped outside, only to discover he had been digging holes and uprooting carrots. Just as I approached, he was about to munch on another one. We had been puzzled about who was nibbling on the carrot tops!”
