This summer, it seemed, the world got it into its head that it had to have a dog. I was very happy to oblige. I converted a small shed into a doggie rest area, placing a couple of folding chairs and a small table for me to sit and read in there, along with small storage bins to keep the toys and to have the yard looking presentable.
