Amidst the panic of the Sierra Oeste wildfires, the dog’s owner had already seen to the safety of several other pets. However, this one dog was simply too heavy to manage alone. The officers sprang into action without a moment’s pause.
United in purpose, they hurriedly carried the big dog down the hill and lifted him into the evacuation vehicle. Without wasting any time, they turned back, ready to assist more families in their urgent escape.

The heroic rescue stands as a testament to the bravery witnessed throughout the harrowing wildfires that compelled many to evacuate their homes amidst thick smoke and raging flames.
