A Security Camera Caught Everything
It’s just footage. It’s blue-tinted, shot from above. The grainy, no-frills clip you never thought you’d see trending. A man sits alone, slumped forward, head in hands. You don’t need to hear a single word to know he’s having a tough moment. It’s written all over his body.
But he’s not the only one. Not by a long shot.
His Dog Had Other Plans
To his left, his light-colored dog sees the sadness and she acts fast. She gets up on her hind legs and starts to dance, right next to her person. No barking. No nudging. She just moves. Sway a little. Almost like she’s saying: Hey, I’m here. Look at me. It’s going to be okay.
She didn’t learn to do this. No one told her to. She just knew it, the way dogs always know, and she reacted the only way she knew how — with everything she had.
