In a heartwarming act of compassion, an 8-year-old boy, fleeing the turmoil of Syria, has captured the attention of many while living with his family in Turkey.
Hüseyin el-Hasan noticed a hurt stray dog struggling on the streets of Kilis. The poor animal had been struck by a vehicle and was barely able to move.
Without hesitation, Hüseyin dashed home to grab a blanket, returning quickly to cover the dog and provide some comfort.
He stayed by the dog’s side, ensuring others were aware of the situation until help could come. Unfortunately, when the animal care team arrived and took the dog to a vet, the news was devastating: the dog succumbed to her injuries, as reported by Anadolu Ajansı.
Upon hearing about the dog’s passing, Hüseyin felt a deep sadness. In recognition of the boy’s compassionate nature, Deputy Mayor Cuma Özdemir paid a visit to his family to express heartfelt gratitude.
During the visit, Özdemir gifted Hüseyin with fresh blankets, emphasizing that while his gesture might appear small to some, it truly embodies the essence of humanity.
